Major New Product Launch and Intelligent Logistics Solution Showcase: ELCO Debuts at CeMAT Logistics 2024

 

On November 5, 2024, CeMAT ASIA 2024, the largest international exhibition in Asia's logistics technology industry, officially opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, featuring over 800 renowned domestic and international exhibitors. On the first day of the exhibition, ELCO introduced two groundbreaking products: the long-range laser distance sensor and the optical data transmitter. 01. Stacker Solutions:

 

 

 

• Laser ranging products provide real-time, precise monitoring and detection of the traveling distance of mobile equipment. They are primarily used for positioning shelf operators, automatic parking systems, cranes, and other mobile equipment components.

• Optical Data Transmission series products enable wireless communication between mobile equipment and fixed locations, facilitating the fast, stable, and efficient integration of wireless data transmission into highly automated production lines and warehouses.

• OS10S polarizer counter products detect the status and position of goods. The product's innovative polarizer design allows for the detection of bright objects, enhancing its antiinterference capability, accuracy, and stability.

• OSM70 series sensors are mainly used in stacker cranes to detect goods. With a detection range of up to 4 meters, these sensors feature two independent switching outputs, making them ideal for heavy-duty warehouse level detection.

 

02. Shuttle Program:

 

 

 

• Logic XL series PLC features an advanced high-performance processor and a variety of communication interfaces, enabling the execution of upper-level scheduling system commands. It supports equipment action and path decision-making, providing fast and accurate coordination of equipment control, as well as processing preset process logic and fault algorithms.

• SA/SC series servo + ML series servo motor drive system offers a wide torque range, fast dynamic response, easy debugging, and high usability. With a high-level safety protection design, it ensures stable torque output across various speed ranges. The system provides safe, fast, and accurate drive for multi-axis linkage of actuators such as robotic arms or trusses.

• EL40 incremental encoder is used for speed control in logistics shuttles, delivering real-time speed signals to the host computer.

• OS22 products are primarily used to detect the status of goods on the shuttle. The OS10S series TOF products are designed for cargo detection and collision avoidance, while OSM42 laser products are used for cargo level detection.

 

03. Conveyor Sorting Program:

 

 

 

• The Logic XL series PLC manages sorting data and action logic, performs decisionmaking for actions and paths, and oversees the acquisition and distribution of material information flow. The high-speed EtherCAT bus system enables coordinated control of multiple devices in distributed systems, while also handling preset process logic and fault algorithms.

• Conveying and sorting equipment include OS10S customized distance TOF products for full package detection, mirror reflection and diffuse reflection products for cargo position detection, and OSM40 short-distance high precision products for detecting belt warping in sorting equipment.

• The FX20 series IP20 distributed I/O provides digital signal inputs for logistics highspeed sorting lines, such as emergency stop signals for controlling sub-control boxes, access control switch signals, and output control signals for system operation indicators, inverter start/stop, etc.

• ELCO utilizes high-performance lasers, low aberration optical imaging components, and ultra-high precision CMOS core components to support high-dynamic acquisition. Additionally, built-in inspection tools simplify the setup of product inspection functions for users.

 

04. AGV Product Program:

 

 

 

• The Logic XL series PLC features an advanced high-performance processor and a variety of communication interfaces. It handles scheduling system command information processing, motion system action and path decision-making, precise positioning, and speed curve precision control.

• The FX20 expandable I/O module is used to control the acquisition and output of signals such as vehicle start/stop, alarm light indications, vehicle distance measurement, and more, providing a reliable I/O solution for AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles).

• OS10S series products are used for detecting goods on loading platforms, with customized large spot products developed for boxes with skeletons to ensure stable detection. The long-distance range of 4 meters is utilized for cargo detection and collision avoidance. The OS10U series products, featuring a laser light source and compact design, are primarily used for precise positioning and lifting process detection.

• An absolute encoder is mounted on the steering base of the AGV's steering wheel to measure the steering angle, providing accurate steering data for navigation.

 

05. Intelligent Forklift Product Solution:

 

 

 

• The Logic XL series PLC is ideal for dispatch system command message sending equipment or mobile equipment controllers. With an advanced high-performance processor and multiple communication interfaces, including various protocols and data interfaces, it meets the needs of complex multi-point systems or single systems requiring precise positioning, speed curve precision control, and other applications.

• Conveying and sorting equipment use OS10S customized distance TOF products for full package detection, mirror reflection and diffuse reflection products for cargo position detection, and OSM40 short-range high-precision products for sorting equipment belt buckle detection.

• The FX20 is compatible with mainstream industrial fieldbus protocols, making it an ideal choice for connecting self-developed controllers and on-board sensors in intelligent forklift trucks. It ensures seamless communication between systems. The FX20 series MODBUS TCP, coupled with digital and analog input/output modules, facilitates rapid acquisition and transmission of on-board sensor signals, enhancing flexibility and reliability for intelligent forklifts.

• The cable box absolute encoder is used for height measurement in the lift mechanism. The cable box converts linear displacement into rotational movement and feeds back position information via the matching absolute encoder.
